Geoffrey Searles is the sole proprietor of Apollo Piano Company. He began working on pianos in 1979 part-time to support himself while attending undergraduate and graduate school. During these years of apprenticeship he developed a deep feeling of respect and admiration for the unsurpassed quality and beauty of old pianos. So, armed with his master of arts in English, his years of learning from and old master and a year of training at the New England Conservatory of Music, he began Apollo Piano Co. Since 1981 he and his associates have restored many fine pianos, continually striving to improve their craftsmanship in order to please their own desire for quality and to deliver a superior product to the customer. .
